The prism pod is one of those forms that looks complex from the outside and reveals its logic once you are inside it. It's a geometric building block and an introduction to open 3D shapes, a satisfying dimensional structure that holds its shape and works in various scales.

This downloadable PDF pattern teaches you to build a 3-sided prism pod charm from the inside out using peyote stitch panels that zip together into a finished three-dimensional form. The size is adjustable.  Includes peyote stitch with increases, zipping beads together, and adding trim by "stitching in the ditch."

Materials You Will Need:

• 4 colors of size 11/0 cylinder beads (Delicas) or seed beads
• Beading thread like KO or Miyuki
• Size 12 beading needle

Intermediate Level:  You should be comfortable with flat peyote stitch before starting this pattern. The tutorial includes increases, zipping, and stitching in the ditch.
