I shaped these entirely with peyote stitch using increases and decreases with Japanese delica beads and even tinier size 15 seed beads. No frame or support structure, just beads and thread coaxed into a marquise silhouette with an open center.
It's one of those techniques that looks simple from across the room and reveals itself slowly the closer you get. Lightweight and wonderfully dangly, they have that kind of quiet complexity that draws people in. Enchanting!
